Early 2003 my friend Suzy and I started a monthly newsletter called "De'Sistren".  It was such a hit within our circle of friends that we started to mail out copies to friends of their friends. After several months I needed fresh articles so I decided to solicit others for news & views. Suzy's mother Barbie was the first volunteer then Hazel joined us in our editorial escapades.

Barbie left us to join the angels, I moved further south, our group grew apart and the newsletter ceased.  As a regular surfer on the net I would find information and articles of interest to my sister friends, and could not find the time to contact each individually, or remember where I found them. So, I decided to continue with this E-Zine for all to view.
